Two Moons Over the Five Crowns

October 5, 2026

Look up on a clear night in the five provinces and you'll find two moons. Only two.

Vael hangs low and reddish, the Flame Moon, and it governs fire and appetite. Lunareth is the pale blue one, the Memory Moon, and it governs names, memory and the way a song stays anchored in the person who sings it.

A moon of fire and a moon of memory, in the same sky. Most of this series happens somewhere between them.

Whispers of the Wyrm, Book One of The Bard and the Blade Saga.
